Sauerbeck Family Drive-In Reading Program Draws 30 Schools, 13,000 Vouchers

The Sauerbeck Family Drive-In in Oldham County, Kentucky, has distributed more than 13,000 reading vouchers through its Drive-In Reading Program, with 30 schools and libraries now enrolled. The program provides free vouchers to participating institutions, and students who meet a designated reading goal receive a free movie ticket.

Participating organizations span multiple counties and include public and private schools as well as public libraries. Among those enrolled are several Oldham County Public Library branches, schools in Shelby and Henry counties, and private institutions such as Christian Academy of Louisville and Whitefield Academy.

Students whose schools are not currently participating may obtain a voucher at the Oldham County Public Library beginning March 16. Homeschool students are also eligible to pick up vouchers at that location. Schools and libraries interested in joining the program can sign up through the Sauerbeck Family Drive-In website.
